Vibration on brand new Model X at about 38mph to 60mph

My prediction: This will never be fixed. Steer by wire is the only answer. Without a physical connection to the wheels the tiny vibrations from their defective suspension will not be observed by the driver and the problem will be solved. Next gen X and S will guaranteed have SBW.

"Refreshed" Model S model VIBRATION tracking and information thread!!!

My 2 cents is that this will never ever be fixed. What they will do is put the Cybertruck steer by wire in Model S next and then without a physical connection to the wheel it can vibrate all day and you wont feel it anymore.

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

This is all on Tesla. Same exact issue on my 2013 P+ with 21 inch wheels which had only like 400 hp (and back then the service centers had the EXACT same excuse for needing new rear tires every 6-8k miles). Installing N2itive links completely solves the issue my wear is normal now. There is...

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

I installed the Rear N8tive links a few thousand miles ago and wear is basically normal now - nothing uneven. I'd suggest everyone that buys a model S installs those links after delivery. Nothing will come from the lawsuits and complaints to Michelin. Most of us here work like crazy for our $...

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

Exactly this. I, too, have all the vibrations. I did aftermarket N8tive links for the tires that wore out every 5k miles. Would love to have an alternative but right now you can get a new plaid for 90k- nothing even comes close in value. And it's not like the competition have perfect cars, they...

    Six seater cybertruck?

Thanks but was hoping for an electric option

    Six seater cybertruck?

The 6 seat option is a big deal for me (4 kids). It's still shown on the website when you look at the cyber truck. It was mentioned by Elon during the Nov 2019 unveil (I was there). Now the rumor according to people that sat inside is that it's gone. It's such BS. Model S lost its 7-seater...

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

Got N2itive rear links installed today at Euro Auto Spot in San Diego. Let’s see how it goes… 24k miles let’s see if the rear tires last till 30k…

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

Yup having mine installed today. Pretty despicable that owners have to do this themselves. I've seen a lot of people file frivolous class action suits against Tesla. This is actually one I would support.

2021 Model S Plaid Steering Yoke shaking at highway speeds

As someone that has driven dozens of X and S's over the past decade (loaners, friends cars, and my own) this is definitely not an echo chamber. The reality is that the suspension engineering on S and X's is horrible. The vibrations and rear-tire wear issues are real.

    Investing in SpaceX

Has anyone here invested in pre-IPO shares? I'm contemplating investing through this place: https://pitchbook.com/profiles/investor/527727-61 and want to know if anyone has experience with this (current share price offered $150/share). Thanks!
