    Falcon wing doors with app

Thanks. I have a 2020 M3 and the older X still takes some getting used to. There is no one pedal driving on the older X’s I’ve learned. And I don’t recall ever using range mode on the 3. It seems the ride is bumpier on the X with range mode turned on. Not sure if it’s just me.

    Falcon wing doors with app

Thanks. I’m guessing the older X also requires the Fob to drive too. I would’ve thought they could’ve easily updated it to allow control via the app. Not a big deal

    Falcon wing doors with app

Just got a 2017 X 75D. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to open the falcon wing doors with the mobile app. Teslas website says I should be able to open it with the app but under controls all I can open are the charging port, frunk and trunk. Is it just not possible to open the falcon...

Unable to play music in Apple music

Just downloaded latest update. I’m unable to play anything from Apple Music. Keeps saying “choose media source” in the player. I have free premium connectivity Jan 2020 M3. Anyone else have this issue?

    Free Premium Connectivity is back?

Just upgraded to 2020.40.4 today and now I have free premium connectivity although I’m not sure if the update has anything to do with it. In BC, SR plus, ordered October 2019 and delivered January 2020.

Model 3 Owners: Who Here Has Trickle-Charging Only/No Home Charging?

A bit late but we have trickle charging only. We got our car in the midst of moving. We live in Vancouver Canada and for two months we had no charging at all as our home was undergoing renovations and we lived out of an Airbnb. In the winter without a home charger was difficult. We had to charge...

    Stardew valley “waiting to update”

M3 SR plus. Was able to play Stardew Valley ok until recently. Play button had been replaced with “waiting to update”. Tried to reboot (scroll wheels down with brakes) to no avail. Anyone have any ideas what’s wrong?

    SR+ regrets

I live in BC. I don’t regret my purchase one bit. But I would say that range loss is real. Be prepared in winter weather especially. Right now, I’m renting an airbnb as our place is undergoing renovations. I park outside and have nowhere to charge at home. Tesla recommends only to charge up to...

Former muscle car owner - thoughts and opinions

My first car was a 98 Acura Integra. Loved that car. Then I had an 08 BMW 335i. It was a nice car for when it came out. Then my wife and I downsized to one car, a 2012 Benz GLK which my wife still drives. I ended up biking to work for 8 years. I finally got my M3 SR plus. Just very easy to...

BC EV rebate to run out of money soon?

I picked my car up on Powell st in January. We were the only ones there. About 35-40 minutes to do the paperwork etc. Drove an Evo down there as parking is limited.

    Wall charger price

So I live in Vancouver. Have a SR plus. I got a quote from Electrum for the wall charger installation in my detached garage. 3500-4000 just to install it, not including taxes or rebates or the charger. Is this normal for a detached garage? Even in the winter I use less than 100 km of range a...

    Thinking of 60D

Thanks. They said there are 6 chargers available near Qwest Field, and 24 a bit further away. Level 2 chargers... does that mean it'll charge fairly quickly? I usually have about 5-6 hours to charge (3 hours at the game and give or take an hour or two pre-and post game)

    Thinking of 60D

Oh, and there is a supercharger halfway between Vancouver and Seattle in Burlington (78 miles from Vancouver). I just don't know whether the 60D MX can make it there in cold weather.

    Thinking of 60D

Hi all, I'm from Vancouver and thinking of getting a MX 60D. I don't do a lot of driving to and from work and performance is not an issue for me. I do want a large family car. We take road trips to Seattle a lot (we are big Seahawks fans), so I'm wondering whether the range will be an issue...
