Loud noise coming from the front motor?

That doesn’t sound like a motor, but a rock between your caliper and the brake caliper shield/cover on your right front wheel. That’s my guess as I’ve had it happen before. Bend the brake caliper shield back using your fingers and see if a rock falls out. Worked for me. I did it on the side...

Powerwall 2 Available Energy After 2 Years

Interesting that your third powerwall 2 reports 15kwh. That’s way too much??? Should be in the 13,500wh range.

Powerwall 2 Available Energy After 2 Years

I should also add that my Powerwalls are kept in a fairly warm Phoenix, AZ garage that regularly gets over 120F in the summer months. Not ideal I guess but no degredation? About two years ago I used the json query to manually ask the gateway what the full pack energy was at that time, and it...

Powerwall 2 Available Energy After 2 Years

This is certainly interesting. I have 3 powerwall 2s that I’ve had in daily use for 3 years and NetZero is reporting zero degradation. In fact, it’s reporting “full pack energy of 40,818Wh and also says expected full pack is 13,500Wh x 3 =40,500Wh”. In other words, I have negative degredation.

    I retrofit MCU2, IC2, Tuner2, and FSD Computer into my HW2.0 Car

That absolutely won’t work. AP computers are locked with encryption keys now and cannot be switched. Tesla has virtually closed all doors now on MCU and AP DIY swap outs.

    I retrofit MCU2, IC2, Tuner2, and FSD Computer into my HW2.0 Car

I haven’t tracked Tesla’s changes to how they store car keys (credentials/certs) in a long time, but my gut reaction is that they have changed the way that these are stored and recovered and likely the reason your mobile app is not working is because your credentials either weren’t moved...

    I retrofit MCU2, IC2, Tuner2, and FSD Computer into my HW2.0 Car

A 2016.5 hw1 car cannot do anything in this thread other than infotainment upgrade (mcu2) which you already say you did.

New "Universal Wall Connector" doesn't charge the Rivian.

Proviidng an update - reache dout to Tesla Chat SUpport this morning and they immediately knew what I was talking about and sent the HEAD firmware to my wall connector remotely (FYI - the wall connector must be disconnected from a vehicle to update firmware, according to them). The firmware...

New "Universal Wall Connector" doesn't charge the Rivian.

Thanks all for this good thread. I installed my Tesla Universal Wall Connector on Christmas and updated to 23.24.4 and am having the same issues trying to charge my Rivian R1S using the built-in NACS > J1772 adapter in the wall connector. When I instead use a 3rd party NACS > j1772 adapter on...

Low Disk Space — Free Space to Restore Functionality

Probably dashcam and sentry related. Go into the car menu and format the usb drive to free up space on the usb stick.

Refresh Model S charge port doesn't open with button on wall/mobile charger

Same with me. Faulty original charge port was replaced under warranty and works fine since.

    2017 TESLA S --- GPS STUCK

Live next to an airport? I get gps issues whenever I’m near my local major airport.

    I retrofit MCU2, IC2, Tuner2, and FSD Computer into my HW2.0 Car

Just curious - How did it fail? What are the symptoms? I believe the answer is yes you can swap a standalone APE3 with ease (I haven’t done this in years so I’m assuming nothing has changed with Tesla’s process at mothership). You’ll need to install the replacement unit and then run a software...
