Tried a FSD subscription. It's not worth it...

I chose to buy FSD not because I thought it would be perfect, but rather I wanted to experience its progress. FSD now has much improved from four years ago. The journey has been interesting. Something to tell my grandchildren. Ten years after FSD has been solved it will be boring.

2500 miles. My thoughts - and issues 😬

"Last thing is apps. I’ve seen loads of things out there but what I’m reallly after is one that can “accurately” predict my range. Is there a decent app that I can put my start and end point in and it will work out how many stops I’ll need based on charge rather than me using Google maps, me...

Can one pause the FSD beta request?

    Good point. I figured.

Can one pause the FSD beta request?

Thanks. In my mind I’m not trying to “game” the system I just legitimately want a break. I’ve been at 97 for about 2 weeks. I’ve gotten 100 and 99 everyday but still no movement. Lately, I’ve been not using a lot of autopilot so I can wrack up points and I’m still at 97. Frankly I’m...

Can one pause the FSD beta request?

Does anyone know if the beta request and/or beta safety score can be temporarily turned off and then on again without loosing ones safety score or place in line? I need a break from “grandma” driving.

Blog Tesla Discounts Basic Autopilot – $2,000 Until July 1

Off base. It's a liitle confusing because it has been developing: there are now two levels NOW: 1. Autopilot- adaptive cruise control and self driving in highway lanes (early M3 did not come with this feature. Now it comes with it unless you purchased the 35,000 car) 2. Full Self Driving

Blog Tesla Discounts Basic Autopilot – $2,000 Until July 1

Considering that all M3s now have adaptive cruise control & autosteer the 2018 M3s (which didn't come with any autopilot) should buy it so they can easily resell their cars. BTW I got FSD on my 2018 M3 because I felt this was a once in a lifetime chance to experience its progress in REAL...

    iPhone no longer connects automatically

We also experienced lack of instant connection after an update from several months ago on our two 2018 M3. It's gotten better but still randomly connects. Also, since that update we have experienced random glitches to the car sound. Randomly, when calls (incoming or outgoing) get routed...

Just bought a New 2018 LR RWD from Tesla

I really like my LR RWD which I got in April 2018. I also got FSD. I fully enjoy my car because it is a "work in progress", not because it is perfect- that would be boring.

    Vacation “rules”

I just spoke to a mobile service technician who said to plug in, leave the battery at 50 % and lower the volts to its lowest number. Lowering the volts will allow the charge to trickle in.

@GSP Thanks. Good to know x2.

    Vacation “rules”

Good answer! For some reason I hadn't thought of plugging it into 120v. - I suppose one could also use a surge protector just in case?? Yes, I will turn off sentry mode however I am concerned about how hot it gets where I live-can be 115 degrees- and who knows in the garage. Does anyone know...

    Vacation “rules”

We have two M3 and only one charger. I have been searching for how to put the second car into some kind of "vacation" mode but can't seem to find the info. does anyone know? Also, it appears Tesla support.com ie chat and email have disappeared. I wish the owners manuel had the ability to search.

    Clean your solar panels!

I wonder... Has anyone tried the "no-Rinse" car wash liquid? The "No Rinse" solution says it is suppose to break down dirt. I consistently use it to clean my car. First with a solution using a bug sprayer -which of course would be fairly easy to spray on the panels.
