Luton Airport Car Park 2 Fire

I have a wireless temperature sensor that can detect up to 140℉, but I am thinking a Photoelectric smoke detector will probably alert first, before the fire gets hot enough to trigger the temperature sensor in the ceiling. At least with Tesla battery pack from videos of past fires, it usually...

Luton Airport Car Park 2 Fire

There is no smoke detector in my relatively new home's garage either (7 years old). I believe the reason is because of false alarm from ICE engine exhaust, but if you only parked EV inside the garage then it is a good idea to install smoke detector.

New tesla model 3 RWD battery drain while parked problem and park assist unavailable

I also had the high battery drain issue in my 2023 Model Y since updated the software in early July. I had an appointment schedule, but ended up trading it in for a new Model X. For those with service requests getting denied by Tesla at first like me because they misunderstood the issue and...

    myQ improved?

I was excited to do the trial when it was first released but quickly disappointed when I realized it didn't work with my Liftmaster Gate opener. The gate opener works fine with my MyQ phone app. Secondly, it seems as "dumb" as the Homelink for the location-based garage door automatic opening...

Pomona Service Center is now open

I haven't been to the Pomona service center for over a year. I just noticed the Store Hours are listed on Tesla location map as closed for all 7 days Mon-Sun. It is also no longer listed as a collision center when filter to show only collision centers. Anybody knows if this location has been...

Tesla backing away from "Phone Key as primary key"

I must be really lucky as I never had any phone key problem since I picked up my Model 3 last Dec and connected to my iPhone X. Been through all the different 2018 software upgrades. Upgraded my iPhone X iOS software. I always open my trunk to put away my backpack before opening the door when...

Submit Complaint via FMCSA National Consumer Complaint Website Just choose Consumer (Motorists witnessing safety problem) and fill out the online form, it looks like there is a place to upload the video...

    Dashcam Install Help

I bought this $36 Mirror Mount off Amazon since Blendmount doesn't have one that works with the Model 3 yet, but the fit is not very good, the part clipping onto the neck of the mirror is blocking the mirror from tilting up fully. It works okay if I adjust the seat all the way down but I like...

    Dashcam Install Help

Another super clean Blackvue 2-channel dashcam install completed by Johnny and Darius from Caliber Customs today. I believe I am their second Model 3 installation. I should thank MTG for being the first since now they know where to find the constant 12V power :) We had some interesting...

My Experience With a Flooded Model S in Houston

The current generation of LEAF is actually even more impressive than what the YouTube shows. In that video, the water is only 300mm (12"). Watch the following recorded live stream when they introduced the LEAF back in 2010. Fast-forward to 27:37, you will see it successfully drives through...

    Trak 4x4 Snow Chains

BTW, the best price I found for the Maggi LT51 is from Amazon UK: Maggi Trak4x4LT51 Snow Chains Maggi Trak 4 x 4 -SUV Type LT51 £292.72, which oddly dropped to £243.93 once added to the shopping cart.. perhaps it is because VAT is not charged for none EU customer? Another oddity is the faster...

    Trak 4x4 Snow Chains

Great research by everyone here. That's an interesting find on the Maggi catalog. Based on my quick calculation, the standard Model X 20" tire diameter is 29.74". The two 20" tire size supported by LT51 is 29.65" and 29.29" in diameter, so less than half an inch off, which isn't very much. I...
