Ordered an M3P, any thoughts on planned upgrades

Truth, I stand corrected. Only the OEM bars can do this.

Ordered an M3P, any thoughts on planned upgrades

Sway bars effect the combination of dive and roll in a turn. The greater the steering angle, (especially when braking) the car will want to roll and dive, but by preventing the roll with stiffer sway bars, the car will also dive less because the suspension has to do less work controlling the...

Ordered an M3P, any thoughts on planned upgrades

I'd add this to the pot. The stock Uberturbines are heavy, and even if you squeeze a 275 on them, they still aren't great for performance, and the sidewalls will bulge which isn't ideal for traction and handling. Regarding staggered setups- Manufacturers do this (generally on rear drive, or...

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

So true. Well hopefully Tesla goes out of business soon, and in 20 years will be a dodo bird like the Delorian or AMC. You will see them on the road and say “Look dear, remember those? We had one back in the day but because Elon Musk doesn’t give a *sugar* about customer satisfaction, they went out...

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

The difference is that never in my history of owning over 20 cars, has the trade in value lost 20+% overnight. The problem here in the US anyway, is that all of the used Tesla's sitting on lots are priced based on what the used car dealers had to pay during the pricing bubble. So someone...

But at least you can look forward to either paying cash for the difference or rolling over the difference to your next loan, making whatever you choose in the future also a horribly overpriced purchase.

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

For those of you with Travelers insurance, I was just able to add GAP insurance to my policy so at least if this overpriced Ipad gets destroyed I won't have to cough up 20K. As soon as the prices stabilize (If ever) Im going to trade it in on a Hellcat, and then proceed to Elon's house to do...

For those of you Yeah, probably 35k, but still tits up.

    Big price drop

Im right there with you. I'd drive this POS off a cliff if I had GAP insurance on the loan, but now I have to drive it until the wheel fall off

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

That is why I always carry Gap insurance on my loans. At least the loan would be paid off in the event of a total loss instead of being 20k upside down on this POS

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

Well, its official. I will never again purchase a Tesla product again because of this. Not only did many of us pay way over the new prices, but this also tanks the trade in value. All I can hope for now is to be rear ended by an F450

Mounted wrong size wheels - they’re now permanently stuck to the car. Disaster [resolved]

Have you tried a slide hammer with reversible jaws? You can flip the jaws around and hook them inside of the wheel center bore (where the center cap goes) it may just break the wheel but worth a try. Also, have a second person put a pry bar in between the void of the wheel and the brake rotor...

If you had to do it again, would anyone NOT get the white interior?

I wish Red or a dark blue was an option

Model 3 resell values have plummeted.

I was inquiring as to the individual's (cdubois) motives for doing so, not trying to start a new general discussion
