I have a friend that worked for Elon's brother Kimball, if Elon is anything like his brother I doubt that Tesla has a roadmap at all. The SOP is to just do whatever pops into the CEO's head each day.

Good idea to check the contacts regularly, my home built EV had occasional problems with the connector; I am going to keep contact cleaner in my frunk when my MS gets here (late March). I still suspect cold batteries, but if you are right Tesla needs to fix this.

Interesting...a poor connection would raise the resistance and result in higher temperature at the charge handle. Did you check for dirty contacts?

Is it possible that your car was the culprit? The car was the one constant between each stall. It seems more likely that the charging system determined that the battery pack could only safely charge at 70kW ( probably due to the temperature) and therefore scaled back the charging current.

I have pretty bad hay-fever, which factored into ordering the premium upgrade. Also I drive a lot of twisty mountain roads so the adaptive headlights might be helpful (not 100% convinced), but the fog lights are a must for my area. I put in my order a few weeks ago, time will tell if I made...

Thank you for the additional details. I am quite interested in purchasing the vehicle, however, there are a few issues I need to resolve first, such as: will I be able to get insurance for a "rebuilt titled" vehicle; do federal and state tax benefits apply, and will Tesla warrantee the vehicle...

Two questions: Who did the repairs? Has the car been certified by Tesla?
