    Autopilot False Positive Braking

After a braking event I previously described (slowing of a car in the exit lane) I've developed a keener eye for this instance and can hold the wheel left in anticipation of the brakes coming on. Slight acceleration helps too.

New Model S owner charging primer (US)

There's no documentation that the J1772 system will recognize or override the Tesla charge limit. You get what you pay for I guess.

New Model S owner charging primer (US)

Thought so. How does one prevent overcharge?

    Autopilot False Positive Braking

I've had the brakes come on in reaction to a car exiting the traveled right lane ahead of me (auto-follow set 4) and decelerate the car in order to, so-to-speak, avoid hitting the highway exiting car in the exit lane. If that car had stopped so would my car but in the adjoining lane. Still no...

New Model S owner charging primer (US)

Has anyone experienced the lack of conversation between the Model S and the J1772 charging system? I left my charge limit set at 70 % ('16 Model S 90D) and returned to find the battery charged to 90-95%. I asked the valet parking attendant if he'd changed the setting and he replied "NO"...

    Level 2 charger question. J1772 IEC Type1

I don't think so. I also don't have the charging record for the time I parked at that lot. All I know is I came back to a fully charged battery. I have an inquiry into Tesla. MTC

    Level 2 charger question. J1772 IEC Type1

The parking lot is valet parking and, whereas the app works there, the charge limit is simply bypassed. I thin this needs a Tesla engineers opinion. Thanks

    Level 2 charger question. J1772 IEC Type1

2016 Model S 90D When I drop my car at the local Fly and Drive parking I leave it at the charging station, plugged in using my own adapter and charge limit set to 80% (enough to get me home after my trip). The charging station is a level 2 charger, IEC Type 1, J1772. When I return I find the...

Model S - HPWC (High Power Wall Connector)

Home chargers are not Superchargers. I have all night to recharge at more reasonable rates usually around midnight.

Model S - HPWC (High Power Wall Connector)

I installed my mid-Nov. '16 with 100 amp service. From the charger manual (and confirmed on my first charge), '16 90D, all I could do was charge at 48amps due to the onboard charger limit. The onboard charger limit is just that unless you have the optional dual charger. Understand that the...
