HI @browellm no never added anything like that. just reading through the recent posts regarding virtual key access, we never had this when setting up, feels more and more like I need to do another removal reset and add back in.
I've tried having them the same and having the car above the limit set in the octopus app.
The app and car appear to be talking as when i plug in i get a charging schedule, but when it comes to charge time nothing happens. All octopus say is third party scheduling is stopping the charge, am at...
@kootuu , you may have to call them, we had issues when first trying to switch, which meant they had to reset the account ? as it wouldn't let us add the car initially.
hi @kootuu , we are in the same boat, have the same car and charger @browellm has been really helpful :), but same with us after nearly 2 weeks , IO GO wont tell the car to charge over night, or when the smart schedules have been assigned, which the app always does.
octopus CC are starting to...
Hi @Pete UK , thats the only thing we haven’t tried. They came back to us this morning stating its a tesla / podpoint issue, bit of a generic, not my problem gov type email.
Does removing and reinstating the car throw up any other issues, should i let octopus know I'm doing it do you think?
@browellm , so was able to test this out, car didn't start charging, i let it run over the scheduled start time on the octopus app by a good 30mins before manually starting the charge, no errors from the Octopus app, have raised a query with their CC team.
thanks @Pete UK , am going to try @browellm suggestions first , just difficult when I need a full bat first thing everyday during the week then out all day.
Good to know makes no difference if app installed on two phones, I did wonder if that was the issue.
Lol so it wont find the car now , reset everything, unplugged, plugged back in left it charging as do need full charge later, octopus app still doesn’t see car , grr tech is frustrating when its flaky
Morning all,
We are struggling somewhat with IO, in that unless we set scheduled charging via the Tesla app, the octopus app won’t charge the car over night. I tested again yesterday evening, with everything plugged in , scheduled charge off via the Tesla app, ( I have to stop the charge when...
I've never found an ionoty that had a working card reader !
Ok so definitely plug in first before doing anything else?, most sites say go through payment first, then plug in? does that just work better for a tesla, plugging in first?
