New 21" Arachnid Wheel and Tire Package

Hey Tony I have been looking for these wheels for ages in a hyper silver colour. Can I ask how much you paid for them and did you buy them in HK or import from North America? I've found buying any wheels in HK is so much more expensive so.. Thanks for the help!

Tempted to change to 22" wheels.. Anyone here done it yet?

Yeah cool I'll keep working on this project of mine. I just saw a dude drive by the other day with 22" and it's decided it's happening pot holes or not.

    Hong Kong First Registration Tax

If anyone approaches them it should be to massage their fickle Cantonese egos and jerk them off about how smart they are they gave 0 FRT to EV and how much it is improving the city. I think the approach of polishing their egos and celebrating the PARTIAL success of their scheme (as full success...

Are the news Ds finally quiet (no front motor noise)?

Yeah totally love mine too! Reminds me of a Manga called Akira where the street bikes are racing through the city. I'm in NEO TOKYO! :)

To D or Not To D - Driving Pleasure

I've driven both (had a P85 loaner whilst my 85D was in repair for a week) I can say this hands down: D makes the car far more stable when rapidly accelerating p85 skid out alot when accelerating hard every time almost. Corners don't feel hairy in the D model as the car seriously grips to the...

Electric vehicle incentives in Australia compared to rest of the world

Actually I already spoke to them before last time I was in Australia. They told me they can't offer warranty on the car but other than that they are identical and should work fine. I was worried about the supercharger protocols more than anything because honestly the price difference between...

Tempted to change to 22" wheels.. Anyone here done it yet?

One thing I've overlooked guys is the tire pressure monitoring trouble. Has anyone had any experience switching to oem wheels and dealing with the tpms? I have no idea where to start with that!

Electric vehicle incentives in Australia compared to rest of the world

I'm in Hong Kong and emigrating back to Australia in a few years. It's horrible to think I'll sell my HK model S and buy a new one in Sydney. Right now I bought the model S at 0% tax. (HK has a first registration tax of 100% of cars in the luxury class) I also could write off the whole vehicle...

Tempted to change to 22" wheels.. Anyone here done it yet?

Hey guys anyone experienced the ride with a 22" wheel here? Thinking of changing from my 19" to a 3rd party 22" but worries about the ride. Also need to know if the new wheels will affect air suspension and is there any special configuration to do for the tpms situation? Thanks all!

    Hong Kong First Registration Tax

Because i8 is a hybrid and not a true electric. The i3 is 0% FRT because it is an EV, the range extended version of the i3 which would be quite useful. Is not even sold in HK because it too is liable for FRT for merely a range extending lawnmower engine inside it. That's how it works dude.
