    Changes to Supercharging?

Since they first opened the network the price per kWh has *always* been different for Teslas vs other EVs, with a membership required for other EVs to get the same rates as a Tesla.

    Changes to Supercharging?

That's been the case since they opened up the network though. That isn't a "change"

    Changes to Supercharging?

I'm aware of that :). My point was that if a Tesla account has never charged a non-Tesla EV, there's little point in them receiving this email if it only affects pricing for non Tesla EVs

    Changes to Supercharging?

In which case why email Tesla-only accounts (since it doesn't affect them)?

    Changes to Supercharging?

There's a few different ways you can read this email. Is it the price of "membership" itself that's changing? If so, strange that it's just the UK Is it the way that member vs non-member pricing works changing - ie does this mean Tesla owners can get membership pricing when charging their...

Volvo dealers telling people they can use superchargers

The large power going through the cables requires quite a lot of cooling. Extended the cables isn't a trivially simple, or cheap change. Certainly not something they'd want to do with guaranteed income to offset the additional cost. Not to say it isn't possible, but it's not as simple as you're...

    2021 Shipping Movements

Videos from a couple of days ago show LHD cars being driven into the parking lot by the car transporters, e.g. Black car driven in at lower middle, followed a bit later by a white one. Both LHD. [Edited to add more info]

Scheduled departure charging to 100% with off peak hours ending at 00:30am

    > am I right in thinking that the car is 'intelligent' enough to only charge to say 90% (or some other value) during the cheap rate time and then do the last 10% top-up just prior to departing? No.

    2021 Shipping Movements

The Shanghai fly-over videos from Wu Wa on Youtube recently seem to show LHD vehicles

How does the Tesla charge when always plugged in?

Once it reaches 80% it'll stop and go to sleep. When the charge drops "a bit" (normally 2-3%) - it'll charge up again. Certainly doesn't keep trickling it into the battery

UK 2021 Model 3 Q2 collection and delivery experiences

No. That's always been the case - exactly the same in my 2019 LR. The "new" batteries (LFP), only in the made-in-China SR+ remove the "daily" limit entirely. With those you can (are recommended?) to charge to 100% regularly.

UK 2021 Model 3 Q2 collection and delivery experiences

Not sure that's quite the case. I think it's your first supercharge on collection day. Certainly when I picked up my last Tesla, and my wife's model 3 we got app access straight away at handover, but supercharged for free at Abington on the way home an hour or so later....

UK Model 3 Performance 2021 Waiting Room

The 'collection-from-the-docks' thing isn't M3 performance-specific so probably already covered in one of the more general purpose threads ...

Wiki UK 2021 Orders and Pending Deliveries

The issue is that it takes a month for cars to get from Fremont or Shanghai into the hands of customers, and Tesla don't want cars in-transit at the end of the quarter. They want every car that they build in a quarter, delivered in that quarter. As a result, the last month of a quarter (June) is...
