    Suggested self driving "nudge mode"

There should be a middle ground between FSD and manual steering. I'll call it 'Nudge Mode". In this mode, you steer and drive just like manual driving, but the car is ever so slightly trying to keep you in lane. If you steer out of your lane, the car doesn't fight you, it just exerts a tiny...

    Trunk/Cargo area cover from Taptest

Sorry. Read too fast. I though this was about a cargo cover for security. Couldn't see how to delete.

    Trunk/Cargo area cover from Taptest

A better way to get cargo privacy would be louvers for the rear window. The louvers would not have to be very large to block sight lines to the cargo area. IMO this would be better than a pull-out cover because it would never look like you're trying to cover something.

"Steering Assist Reduced" invoice shock! $3600!

I have a 2017 Model S 75D, 5 months out of warranty with only 30k miles. it has never been driven even close to aggressively. It even has lived its entire life in "CHILL" mode. After 4 years of zero driving problems, after a few days of sitting in my driveway, I get in and see "Steering assist...

    Sudden Unintended Acceleration

I’ve driven lots of manuals and completely disagree. I have to pull within 2 feet of my house for the charge cable to reach. When I’m “creeping” up I sure don’t want to do it with the accelerator. If ANYTHING goes wrong (what if I sneeze?) I’m in the wall. Using the brake for low speed control...
