Is the Tesla memo verified? Anyone else who have gotten a discount on the MCU upgrade?

The recall is just a software update, which takes less than an hour to complete at a Polestar Service Point. New cars already have this update before they are delivered to customers. Deliveries continue as planned, at least in Norway.

The US website currently says "Coming Soon" under availability for the infotainment upgrade for non AP 2.x cars. I thought this upgrade was available in the US already. Isn't this the case? Infotainment Upgrade

843 out of 1,491 registered Polestar 2 cars in Norway are recalled due to this issue. Polestar 2 is surprisingly popular in Norway even with all the problems with the car so far, while the popularity of Model 3 has plummeted. Solving the sudden death issue will probably reinforce this trend.
