I too have the same problem with the windshield wiper. Took delivery of model S at the end of Feb 2016.

I have an LS460L and LS430 prior to owning model S. When driving at a slow speed such as 30 miles/hour the model S is much quieter due to no engine noise. But when I get to the freeway speed, my model S is not as quiet as my LS406L. I hear more wind noise and road noise as well as hear car...

This maybe off topic slightly but on page 47 of the manual it says not to use pressure washer on the ultrasonic sensor.

I don't have my car yet but will be picking it up next week. I can see the usefulness of this. Summon the car out of the garage then quickly pressure wash car to remove dirt then summon back into the garage to do a no rinse wash technique.
