    EU finalize and deliveries

Why don't use a ferry? As far as I know, there are Ferrys vom Kiel or Warnemünde to Helsinki and Stockholm. When I went from Switzerland to Norway and back, I used the Kiel - Oslo Ferry Service, which saved me about 1600km of driving.

Europe: Future Charging for Model S 1-phase or 3-phase? (Part 2)

I also waited more that a Month for my EVSE1, because of their supplier problems. They seem to be in a similar situation, where their suppliers didn't thought, that they would ramp up production as they did. I talked to the guys from crOhm, when I picked up my EVSE1 and they told me, that they...

Europe: Future Charging for Model S 1-phase or 3-phase? (Part 2)

Yes, mine does actually have Twin Chargers even if Tesla told me a week ago, that it wouldn't have them. I don't know why, but charging limited itself, when I tried yesterday. After a while it went down to 25Amps, where it leveled out. When I tried it again today (see screenshot below), I...

Current differences between US and EU version?

I'm having trouble downloading it, the download stops after 11'774'745 Bytes of 17MB. I tried to download from multiple sites and various IPs. Is this just me, or does someone else also have problems?

    EU finalize and deliveries

I had to reset the spreadsheet to the version from Jul 9, 7:24 AM PT. So the spreadsheet is ok for now, but everybody that entered information between that time and now will have to do it again.

Europe: Future Charging for Model S 1-phase or 3-phase? (Part 2)

In my view there would have been enough space above the type 2 connector, to allow for a small led. It's a pity, if they actually completely relinquished the led. It seems like the hinge had also to be split into two pieces to make more place for the Type 2 inlet. The regular charge port door...

Europe: Future Charging for Model S 1-phase or 3-phase? (Part 2)

Interesting is the "nose", the port has at the middle pin (PE / ground conductor). This is probably to make tesla superchargers "coded" for the Model S. I'm not so sure, but on the image the pins look actually "deeper" so they could provide more surface for the supercharging capability...

    EU finalize and deliveries

I think we should keep two things in mind: The people at the EU customer service in the U.K. are doing a great job and they are working very hard. The reason why they can't give us the information we want as quickly as we want it is because they don't have the resources and the authority to do...

    EU finalize and deliveries

crossposting this from the Model S Delivery Update thread: As I have VIN 14291, does this mean, that my car is also ready and it's going to be shipped to Europe soon?

This could mean, that you only get the documents listed after your order has reached a certain status ( assignment of the VIN ? ).

    EU finalize and deliveries

Thanks, but that's not exactly what I meant. My question was, if the timing, when the links appears in the MyTesla-Account is somehow related to the moment, the car enters or finishes manufacturing? I asked this myself after I witnessed the VIN number appear on the MyTesla page and about two...

    EU finalize and deliveries

You're probably right. Does somebody know what the "appearance" of the link and the document actually means? Is it somehow related to the status of the manufacturing/delivery process?
