I've never understood this argument. There are so many instances where a optioned up cheap car can be faster/ more luxurious or whatever than a base high end model. you might be right, I honestly don't know, but I think there are many more reasons to want one over the other than just range.

I just hope they'll be more honest about this going forward. making the cars look like they all got the same range ended up being more confusing for owners than just explaining there's a slight range hit for AWD

I would have to agree! Though I think his point was more that an EV has this strong of a desire. The high desire of a quality EV has been completely ignored by most auto manufacturers.
