    New Model 3 Performance news

I really want to push the order button, but we are about to build a new house and I need to sort the pricing and finance for that first :(. I paid ~$106K for my M3P, ordered in Oct 2019. The stealth grey with black interior is $87,460 drive away in QLD. This is fantastic value given the...

    Low Voltage battery replacement

I received a few error messages on the 19th of April regarding the low voltage battery, including one to my phone telling me to book a service request. This is for my M3P, picked up in Dec-2019. I've lost the ability to use the USB ports, so my 3rd-party phone charger and drive for music/sentry...

Model 3 Performance Replacement Tyres - Cost and Durability

I had fairly even wear on my tyres. That sounds like something was amiss with the alignment or suspension? Did you hear of anyone else with similar problems?

    AGL’s “Night Saver Energy Plan”

Umm, it's in the thread title, AGL :).

Model 3 Performance Replacement Tyres - Cost and Durability

@Hungry Mile they shouldn't have been $550 for the LR, as yours would only be 18 or 19 inch, right?

    AGL’s “Night Saver Energy Plan”

I switched to this plan and received my first bill. It's working extremely well for us. The general usage price is even lower than my previous plan. We are renting at the moment and are using a standard wall socket to charge both cars. Thus, some of the car charging happens outside of the...

    Powerwall 3 Roadmap - 3 Phase Coming!

Ok, it seems we have different understandings of what makes something an official announcement, especially with respect to a product roadmap. My view is that if a company presents a roadmap to people outside of the company, e.g. users, resellers, installers, etc. that it's an official...

    Powerwall 3 Roadmap - 3 Phase Coming!

Umm, That's an official Tesla slide from a Tesla live steam for Powerwall installers as part of the USA Powerwall 3 launch. The product manager for Tesla Powerwall was speaking.

    Powerwall 3 Roadmap - 3 Phase Coming!

Back to the 3 phase capability... The slide I snipped and posted here was talking about the roadmap. and there was no mention of 3 phase until this slide. Hopefully 3 phase support will be available by the end of the year, but only Tesla knows.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

I updated the car to 2024.2.6 this morning. When taking the car out of the garage for the school run the car did a single dry wipe. It's never done that before, sigh.

    Powerwall 3 Roadmap - 3 Phase Coming!

No. They seem to be keeping that under wraps. Perhaps with the right to change the chemistry depending on what's available.

    Powerwall 3 Roadmap - 3 Phase Coming!

Ok, well that's annoying, but probably understandable that the video is now private. Here are some of the things that I remember, keeping in mind this was installer focused. 1. A single Powerwall 3 can charge a Model 3 at the highest AC rate, due to the maximum continuous output of 11.5 kW. 2...

    Powerwall 3 Roadmap - 3 Phase Coming!

I just stumbled across a YouTube video with Tesla discussing the benefits of Powerwall 3 for installers. They had this slide showing that they are working on 3 phase! Source: . There is lots of other good technical content in the presentation too.

Everything Electric Sydney (February 9-10-11, 2024)

I was told 8c for any usage 12 am - 6 am, no need to install another meter. That's what changed the game for me and I said I would sign up.

Everything Electric Sydney (February 9-10-11, 2024)

My wife and I flew to Sydney for some Chinese New Year celebrations with her family and for me to attend the show. We are going through the process of building a new home (we did the last one in 2020-2021), so I was hoping for more exhibitors that were in the battery, hot water, AC, home...
