    M3P?

I see the OP has made a decision, but I'll leave this here for anyone else considering their options. I've had my M3P for almost 2 years and still love it. The way I justified it was that I hadn't had a car for 16 years (living in Singapore) and the cars with similar performance (BMW M3) were...

    Is this battery performance normal?

Just an idea... How about someone with the same car specifications offers to do a range test with @M3OZ? Charge to 100% and use the same HVAC settings, tyre pressures, etc. They can even take turns at the lead to average out any impact on following another car.

Queensland - Labelling requirements for Electric Vehicles

I received the same email and ordered through the link. It's a weird ordering process, but it did complete with a confirmation email. You need to scroll down the list of all products, find the label, enter 1 in the quantity, then proceed from the bottom of the page by hitting confirm order. That...

    DAB is here

I have a similar experience on the Gold Coast with black spots for DAB in my M3. I don't use it because it ruins the listening experience making it useless for me. I've never had DAB before, so don't have another car to compare the experience.

    Interesting driving stats thread

I thought that seemed a bit high when I read it, so I did a test last week when I had to leave my car at the airport. My car is a Model 3 Performance, 1 year, 3 months old and I turned off Cabin Overheat Protection when I parked it. I arrived on Monday at 10:00 am with 65% and returned on...

    Interesting driving stats thread

@Flatbat not sure you want to show that maximum speed on a public forum? :) Fantastic information! Has anyone actually graphed out what the real world consumption is for the different Tesla cars at say 90, 100 and 110 km/h? I don't use any of the data services, but I suspect they could provide...

    M3P Bumper Repair?

Wife wasn't in the Tesla, she's not allowed to drive it :). She backed into my car while in hers. Anyway, the repair shop looked at the damage and said they will repair it instead of replacing the bumper. The bumper was more expensive than we originally thought; around $800 instead of $500. If...

    M3P Bumper Repair?

I dropped into Tesla, Southport today and one of the service chaps said that bumpers are not that expensive. @EcoCloudIT, thanks for the advice, that lines up with what Tesla is saying. I'll give the nominated repair shop a call tomorrow and see what they say. @Candleflame the Tesla service chap...

    M3P Bumper Repair?

The wife had a wrong pedal moment and backed into my car. I'm wondering what the best approach is going to be here, e.g. take it to a Telsa nominated repair shop, use any recommended repair shop, get those bumper repair chaps to come out and fix it?

    Interesting driving stats thread

Excellent stats! How much extra weight, @Vostok? E.g. my trip had 2 adults, 2 kids, 1 car seat, plus the boot and frunk packed. I estimated that was about about 130 kg extra (not including me).

    Interesting driving stats thread

I'm not sure where you are driving Cafz, but in country towns I can tell you not a single person I was behind waited until the sign to start accelerating. It may well be irrational and asking for a ticket, but it's how the overwhelming majority drive.

    Interesting driving stats thread

That works when using TACC, but with Autopilot on you can't go above the predetermined limit you've set, e.g. 62 km/h for a 60 km/h zone. I agree it's unlikely to change. No one tooted in anger and they can't keep up once it starts accelerating anyway ;). Interesting. I'll have to look at the...

    Interesting driving stats thread

I left for Kyabram (VIC) from the Gold Coast on the 19th of Dec and arrived back on the 29th. Our trip was rushed to get to the VIC border to save Xmas (6 yo would have been devastated, as all presents were at my sister's place) and then back to QLD to avoid any possibility of getting stuck in...
