Bought the DeWalt also, and it works like a charm. My wife and I, both over-60s, found it a breeze to use. Bought a battery and charger as well as the tool. Expensive but worth it.

What percent were you at? 50 degrees is not all that warm insofar as the battery is concerned. And 20 minutes is a short time to precondition.

In my case, I only used the scheduled charging function in the car, not on the app. So it wasn’t an app problem. I also had notifications turned on, so I knew immediately that the car was charging at the wrong time.

Don’t know whether it’s still true, but when I bought my 2021 M3 LR, Tesla would not let you buy the car at lease-end. That was a big negative for me.
