Plan to do some more deserted road testing tonight. Going to go to San Diego Race Legal soon. It's a 1/8 mile not a 1/4.

I've tested the car on some deserted back streets. Track mode off. 3.2 0-60 mph. 11.7 quarter mile.

I had the same thoughts. When I go i'll try both ways.

Question for you guys. I'm taking my PD3+ to the drag strip. For the best times do you think I should use "track mode" or leave it disengaged? Thanks.

If that's true...that's total BS on Tesla's part. I love my Tesla, but this kind of crap is unacceptable. As soon as Audi, BMW or Mercedes catch up regarding EV's. I know I'll never buy another Tesla...unless they start treating existing customers better.

No 2's ever for the M3. You don't know that. The Model S has already hit 2.3 0-60. So a 2.9 0-60 M3 is possible and still slower than a Model S.

I stood in line and reserved on March 31st. I will be doing a 2 year lease on a Model S. After 2 years if I love the S I'll buy it. Otherwise I'll get the M3 and either sell or turn the S back in. Another benefit is...I now move up the M3 list. Live in Ca., already own a Tesla, will order a M3...
