Bad wheel paint, can I warranty this?

It's also visible on the front of the wheels, on the ring where the valve mounts. IT's like this on 3 of the wheels.

What name did you give your new Model Y?

My young neighbor dude said that my new car was "baller". So what to name it was obvious: Also, awaiting the arrival of my new license plates (it's a CA thing😎🏄🏼🤙):

Bad wheel paint, can I warranty this?

Yesterday I removed the wheels from my Y to clean and ceramic coat them. I hadn't noticed before how bad the paint is on them, too busy looking at the body and interior. The paint is extremely thin in many spots, you can actually see the bare metal through the paint. In bright light you can see...

    Vallejo CA Service Center?

The hood paint looks good although under bright light there are hairline swirls now so it will need to be polished again before it gets ceramic coated. I dropped off the car on the 8th and picked it up on the 18th, it took longer than I had anticipated, the estimate was for 7 business days. They...

    Vallejo CA Service Center?

I tried to get it serviced at San Rafael (which is much closer to my house) but they were completely booked. Any future needs will be through them for certain. I picked up my car at Corte Madera.

    Vallejo CA Service Center?

I dropped off my M-Y on 11-8-2021 to have some warranty work completed. These were all items that were documented by the Tesla Rep the day I accepted the car. All of the repairs were for plastic trim pieces or panels, and one small paint issue on the hood. They got the car back from the body...

    Faux leather sealant?

Has anyone tried using Gyeon Q2 Leathershield on your faux-leather seats? I emailed them some time ago asking them if it si compatible but did not hear back. Any other ceramic/sealants that you found worked well to protect your seats? Thanks.

    Wheel locks?

Does anyone know if these will fit under the "Induction" wheel caps? These Gorilla locks are 41mm (1.62") tall, I am concerned that they might interfere with the center cap. Thanks. Gorilla model 96641BDX

Take your time with your acceptance inspection (photos)

I paid in full online prior to picking the car up. Paying for it is not the same as accepting the vehicle, you can still refuse the vehicle if it is in unacceptable condition.

Take your time with your acceptance inspection (photos)

1 & 2. I had already paid in full on the Tesla site. But, when you pick up the car in person (as opposed to having it delivered), they will not unlock the car and allow you inside until you "accept" the car at the dealership (Corte Madera). So following the guidance in the checklist (link in 1st...

Triangular hole in left rear interior cargo area of Y?

Thanks! Just ordered the bag hooks.

Take your time with your acceptance inspection (photos)

When I picked up my Model Y on the 30th, I used the inspection checklist that a member provided to me in this POST. It proved to be indispensable. Before having the Tesla Rep unlock the vehicle, I spent about 45 minutes carefully going over the entire outside and underside of the car. I invited...

Triangular hole in left rear interior cargo area of Y?

Hmm, I'll have to check the manual a bit more closely. I did not find anything on my first look.

Triangular hole in left rear interior cargo area of Y?

I just noticed this triangular hole in the left rear part of the cargo area on my Model Y. Is it supposed to be this way or should it have a plug or cap to cover it? Does it have a purpose? Thanks

New to Tesla, Model Y delivery 30th, seeking advice please

Thanks for the help. I plan to spend some time going over it at the dealer. All of this guidance is greatly appreciated.
