I was lucky enough to catch that one time dip in March and bought my LR AWD for $48,900. But I remember at the time many were thinking it was a bad time to buy because we’d miss out on the ’inevitable” tax credit that could be passed soon. I guess sometimes it’s best to not overthink it.

My booster seats for in the 3rd row, but my 6 year old is too SHORT to fit back there. That is because the only real foot room is under the second row seat, and his legs are too short to fit under the seat.

I tested this out on my 3rd row yesterday. Despite activating the 3rd row heaters in the app, the seats were not warm at all after many minutes.

My Tesla has been the most reliable car I have owned. Keep in mind that electric cars have substantially fewer components than ICE cars, so less to break. Also, if you do have an issue then a Mobile Tech can most likely come to your house and fix it there. Total game changer.

One logical way to not hurt short-term demand while also not retroactively applying this to purchases that were clearly made with no expectation of a tax credit would be to make the credit effective from the date the GREEN Act was first published publicly last week.

As much as I would like a $7000 rebate on the purchase of my upcoming Tesla, I agree with you. Tesla will almost certainly sell its next 400,000 vehicles as quickly as it can produce them. Which means our fellow tax payers would have spent $2.8B for essentially little/no incremental benefit.
