    Model VIN issued in Australia?

Got the email that orders for Model Y are open at 11:30am on Friday 10th of June. Ordered mine by 1:45pm. Haven't received the VIN yet. Wondering if those who have received theirs could share what time they put their order on the day?

    This new UI sucks

It sucks. The previous UI was great, tweaks are fine but if you have a good UI, wholesale changes like this are just going to piss people off. Why would you hide driver profile one level below when it is very common for households to have two drivers and each with their own profile? Where is the...

    Is this battery performance normal?

They do. I quote: " What percentage should I charge the battery to? Adjust the charge percentage of the battery in the settings menu on your touchscreen. For most Tesla owners, 80% charge is sufficient for regular daily use. We recommend setting higher charging limits only for long distance...

    Is this battery performance normal?

Well on average I would not drive at 110km/h and that's the point of making EV companies report more statistically relevant information.

    Is this battery performance normal?

hmm not sure if that is true. 80% is the recommended level of charge. The regenerative braking gets disabled beyond that threshold, so it is questionable if you actually get a linear boost out of a 100% charge. Regardless, going from 448 to 250 is still a large gap. I also, take exception to...

    Is this battery performance normal?

Of course, there are real world averages. Doing 140km/h in 110km/h is what outliers do (and hopefully get fined for) and then get suppressed mathematically by average drivers who struggle do get more than an average of 40km/h on urban roads. Averages and standard deviations are useful...

    Is this battery performance normal?

Well my sticker said 448km and I only get 200km. In the same manner that telcos have to report their average internet speeds in the evening, I think EV companies should be required to report their real world average range. With the sort of information they collect they can even report these...

    Is this battery performance normal?

But how would you feel if the actual consumption was twice the stated sticker number, closer to 17L/100km?

    Is this battery performance normal?

No sure. I was contacted by the local team. Had the impression that they were doing that.

    Is this battery performance normal?

I had Tesla do remote diagnostic on my battery. According to their diagnostic the battery is performing above 95%. It is just that in real-world driving I get a little over 200km (@80%) for a car which has WLTP rating of 448km and EPA rating of 423km (@100% charge). I guess everyone knows the...

    Is this battery performance normal?

Wow this is even worse than mine!

    Is this battery performance normal?

Based on my calculations, my M3 SR+ 2020 has around 40kwh of usable capacity. This is a 20% drop from the initial 50kwh for this make and model. Anyone has had a similar experience?
