Yeah, the part number has been around for about a year, but I am curious about what the "5B" means, as far as I can tell, this didn't appear on these packs previously.

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but my new Model S 75D (built 8/2018) has an interesting detail. Check out the attached image - does anyone know what "5B" means? The battery part code is the same as prior 75D batteries and I did have BTX5 during my order process, so I doubt it's anything...

I just noticed saw, too. And there appears to be other slight interior changes! - The vents seem to be a bit different - Chrome accents (around vents, door, center screen, cupholders, console door, and steering wheel, etc.) are dark - Upper and lower dash pads have different stitching and some...
