    Navigation stopped working

I tried a powerdown reset to no avail. My connection has been a bit flaky recently but I can usually connect to spotify etc.

    Navigation stopped working

When I put in a destination, navigation is just endlessly calculates the route or just stops. I‘ve tried a reset which didn’t help. The car appears to know where it is which suggest GPS is working. Is there an easy fix ti this which I’m missing? Thanks for any help.

    How Secure Are Teslas?

I doubt that, you don’t have to get that close

My mate's car coming soon, which wall charger should he buy?

I’m happy with my Andersen charger and my other half likes it too because it’s a neat and tidy solution. On the charger plug, I had to enlarge the lock pin hole slightly to prevent my Model 3’s unlock mechanism sticking in cold weather but that’s been the only issue.

New M3 LR owner - what has surprised me so far

Totally agree about the rear view camera, I’m constantly cleaning it in wet weather. They really need to look at German car implementation of this feature. I’ve turned down voice commands on the sat nav - rarely the correct roundabout exit quoted.

Two 'unlocks' needed to release charging cable in the morning

That’s my experience exactly. Although I wait for the unlock option to come back on my phone rather than using the emergency release. It hasn’t happened to me since I enlarged the hole on my connector; three cable releases at first go. However, it hasn’t been quite so cold so that may be a...

Two 'unlocks' needed to release charging cable in the morning

Looks like it‘s a fairly common issue. Points noted about cleaning and avoiding petroleum-based lubricants.

Two 'unlocks' needed to release charging cable in the morning

Thanks for the relies. My charger head is the one that comes with the Andersen charger. I had the same thought myself and checked where the pin docked with the rectangular hole on the charger head by smearing some Vaseline on the surfaces of the hole. (The pin comes in from the left...

Two 'unlocks' needed to release charging cable in the morning

Thanks for the replies. I wait for my phone app to connect to the car, which wakes it up, then press ‘charger unlock‘. I hear the usual unlocking sound but this clearly hasn’t completed the action as I have to go through another cycle to remove the cable. If I reinsert the charger...

Two 'unlocks' needed to release charging cable in the morning

I'm not sure if this is due to the colder weather but releasing my home charger cable in the morning is a struggle. I press unlock on my phone app, there's a click and the light goes white but the cable won't release. I have to wait until the release option come up again on my phone and...

30 hour wait for recovery. Lessons learnt.

Really sorry to hear of your ordeal, I hope it's all sorted soon. You've got me reconsidering my emergency kit as well. I bought a Celestron Lithium Powertank to power my telescope mount but it wasn't man enough for the job over the time required. I think I've found a good alternative use...

    V11 - what’s your verdict?

A nice overview of the update

My Model 3 didn’t charge last night

Yes, I’m pretty certain it was a charger schedule failure as there was a gap in my smart thermostat data at about the time when charging was scheduled to start suggesting the intermet connection was down.

My Model 3 didn’t charge last night

Sorry to hear of your woes, that's pretty poor service. I think my AutoAid subscription is probably a good idea.

My Model 3 didn’t charge last night

Thanks. You're right I can't rule our a charger schedule failure. The error message concerned me. Now that scheduling is available via the app, it's just as easy and a safer option.
