Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

This "moving over" behavior reminds me of a question for y'all. Now that the car isn't driving down the middle of the road, on unmarked residential streets, it feels too close to cars parallel parked along the curb. Much closer than I would drive. I think if one of those cars opened a driver's...

I ran your test - yep, buzz just as you describe. No buzz from the 17" screen, though. I'm on 2021.44.30.10.

How about: the SC (or maybe the factory) broke your microphone a while ago, and you only could tell after you got the software load that used it? It still sounds like a broken mic, or mic amp circuit, somewhere. They ought to be able to diagnose that!

No change to the worm - which in my case is pretty minor, luckily. It looks like they put the same cover back on (although I can't prove it, but the worm looks identical to me). But, that would imply the worm is actually in the cover, and not something underneath, pushing through. Or, an...

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

Got my car back from service... as promised, an update: 1) they replaced the driver air bag, per the recall, so (for those others who got the recall) the parts are available. 2) they "fixed" the safety restraint system error, again, by doing the same fix as 2 months ago (reseating a connector...

Had it for about 3 weeks now (second time - they fixed it once by reseating a connector). I have an appt for Tues. I'll report back how it goes.

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

It'll be interesting to see what the rules are, when we have single stack FSD "maybe next month"...! With 75 mph speed limits on highways, it's pretty easy (even necessary/safer sometimes) to push it over 80 on occasion. If that starts to be a 'ding', I'll have to stop using it on the highway. 😞

Just got the notice that 10.8.1 is available. Maybe the final wave is happening tonight?

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

I've had very good experiences, so far, on 10.8. About 40 miles on a combination of residential neighborhoods, rural roads, and city streets (so, no highway/AP), and only 2 required disengagements. But, yesterday, at night, had it not understand a right only turn lane, that it confronted...

The unofficial "when do I get my FSD beta update" FAQ

Sorry for any confusion. It's my Plaid that gets FSD. My 2016 is still on HW 1.

The unofficial "when do I get my FSD beta update" FAQ

Same here! After many weeks waiting for any updates (nothing since 36.5.1), jumped to 44.25.6, just now. I guess the monkey is granting Xmas gifts.

The unofficial "when do I get my FSD beta update" FAQ

Hmm. I opted in as soon as the button was released (early Sept?). I had a 98 score for a while, so no FSD. But, I still got non-FSD updates for the next ~ 6 weeks, until 36.5.1. I've been working to keep a 99 score since October, but no updates of either type, now, or for the last several...

The unofficial "when do I get my FSD beta update" FAQ

I have a 99 score, but not only am I not getting the FSD beta, I haven't gotten any updates at all, since 36.5.1. I used to get them regularly every couple of weeks. I have a new theory: I also have an active safety alert for a passenger side restraint system fault. My SC doesn't have the...

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

Well, depending on what you mean by "left to the owners", but I might be one success story. My car did have a couple very minor issues at delivery (some missing clips in the front wheel wells, and two very small paint chips inside the driver door frame), all fixed on the spot before I took...
