The transfer of unlimited Supercharging helped make the decision to upgrade from the 2017 90D Model S to Plaid. (Never forgot the Plaid performance during a demo drive earlier this year.)

I charge to 90% at home on the top of a hill. I notice reduced regenerative braking as the friction brakes must be used at the traffic light. At lower charge levels, the regeneration slows the Model S more effectively. My previous suggestion was to assure quality braking during the descent.

This location helps the drivers who need extra range in the mountains. There is a concern for those who charge up fully before driving down the mountain. About 13 miles regenerate back into the battery when returning to San Bernardino. For example, I would only charge my Model S to 70% or less...

The Tesla App scheduled my service for Santa Ana. As a Model S owner, I thought best to call and confirm since this thread was not recently updated. Santa Ana does service Model S vehicles and is another service location to use for faster service if offered in the Tesla App.
