    Tesla Stores

I appreciated support from the store but would have been OK without it. I'm OK with online only sales, but I think Tesla is treating employees poorly. EVs will certainly dominate sales in a few years, but Tesla just burned some of their market share. Treat employees poorly, and they will treat...

Obvious features/functions that weren't obvious to you

The Denver service center reset both my trip counters twice telling me the car saves a lot of data for each one that bogs down the computer. IMO Either they are operating on superstition or some programmer should be fired. The Utah service center agreed that the trip counters do not need to be...

    Frozen Instrument Cluster (Again) Anyone!?

I was very clear, asking the Denver Tesla Service Center Rep which trips she was talking about, and I watched as she cleared the trip odometers. (Interestingly, the Salt Lake City Service center did not agree that trip odometers would contribute to MCU malfunctions. IMO this Denver Tesla...

    Dilemma: 90D vs P90D?

Previous versions of the Tesla design studio page had illustrations that showed a bigger rear motor for P options than non P.

    Dilemma: 90D vs P90D?

Yes this is discouraging. Perhaps unavoidable at Tesla's growth rate, but I hope they will make an effort to get their employee's better informed.

    Suspension Problem on Model S

After reading Tesla's reply, I think I've been snookered. It appears gpcordaro's motivations may not be not pure. Regardless, learning how his ball joints came to be in such bad shape would be very interesting.

    Suspension Problem on Model S

Thanks very much for sharing pictures. I'm making a note to check mine when it gets more miles and will compare with yours.

    Suspension Problem on Model S

Is there anyplace where people compare experiences with Tesla Service Centers so we can get an idea of which ones know their stuff and which ones seem to have BMW plants to sabotage Tesla's image? My Denver service center gave me a seemingly ridiculous suggestion to stop my center screen from...

    Suspension Problem on Model S

True, not a crime. Just far below expectations. Given the rarity of such a failure on all cars, I think it's a reasonable expectation. This will not contribute to the success and longevity of the company.

    Suspension Problem on Model S

Are you aware that air suspension is a (current price) $2500 option for the Model S from the factory?

    Suspension Problem on Model S

I remember in the 60's Studebaker had a problem where a front wheel occasionally fell off. It happened to my uncle. They went out of business. Tesla is crazy to tell you what they did. Making me think it's time to sell my TSLA. Not so sure about my Model S.

Anyone else getting 'Key No Longer Inside' and the occasional whacked door?

I suspect picking up the car does *not* mean the SW is the latest version. My MS center screen would not light up (no control over things like the sun roof) the day after I picked it up. It still drove, and after Tesla told me how to force a reboot, I haven't had that problem again in 7 months.

auto-pilot malfunction (accelerated behind another car causing crash)

I'm OK with AP as The Cause as long as we keep the human responsible. Just like guns.

    Tesla AM radio reception

Based on my recent experience, a radio with better reception may only receive more interference from the car. A better radio is wasted if the car's electrical noise is louder than the stations you want to receive.

    Tesla AM radio reception

This week I'm getting noise through the AM radio in my Model S that I haven't gotten before. On 740AM, a local station, the noise came and went as I turned climate control (AC) on and off. On 630AM, a distant station, the acceleration and regen made an interesting variety of whining noises...
