    No supercharge in bitter cold

Driving an electric vehicle (EV) is not the same as driving a traditional gasoline-powered car. It's important for EV owners to be aware of the unique considerations that come with driving an EV, such as pre-heating the battery before charging in cold temperatures. This can help prevent issues...

    Model S is insanely safe.

https://ca.yahoo.com/news/doctor-accused-intentionally-driving-tesla-145231167.html So despite the horrible nature of a person trying to kill his family. I think the reason they survived, was due to the model S safety features and frunk as a giant crumple zone.

Range concerns on 2017 200D I bought a week ago

You charged to 51% and then drove 119 miles. I am surprised you made it home. When you drain so low your initial start up charging will be slow. You should not drive to such a low state of charge. 1% wow! I think once you get used to the idea that you need a faster charger at home and...

Is there any advantage of leaving the X plugged in even when charge is completed?

The 12 volt battery won't discharge as often when you keep the charger plugged into the car. The result is your 12 volt battery will last longer. When connected things run off the charger.

    Adding second charger

I think the new generation of Tesla wall charges can be placed in series on the same line. I am not sure if they regulate output between themselves.

    So this just happened!

I am driving southbound on Spadina in Toronto with my son, and a Starbucks Umbrella/Parasol blew off its’ stand and hit my passenger side doors and my passenger side mirror. There is damage to the passenger side door. Any Body Shop recommendations?

    Tire mistake at Service Center

Just need to update this thread. I was just informed my Model X originally came with summer tires. So it makes sense that the service centre would have swapped out my used original tires for the same type. This came as a surprise since I was very sure I was told the car had all seasons on...
