My lease is also around $1700. But due to tax effects, the hit I take on my pay in net income is about ~1000.

As I wrote a few posts back... Regarding prices. My S85 as a company lease cost me about $1000 a month (net so after taxes). For the same money I can get for example a Volvo v70, bmw 5series, etc. An S-class? No, it would be at least twice as much... So there you have it compared by car costs...

Regarding the seats. Never owned a mercedes so I compare with bmw. The next gen is comparable to bmw's sport seats. But upgrading to a sport seat is something like $600. Bmw also have what they call comfort seats which is a $2500 option. That is what the next gen seats should have been like. Niw...

Interior volume is not the only thing. Seats matter a lot and in that respect, the MS is laughable compared to a bmw 5 series. MS front seats are bad (incl the next gen) and the rear "bench" is just a joke when compared. - - - Updated - - - Ohh. And as soon as bmw produces a 5series with...

Really crappy decission IMHO. Not scrapping the 85. That's understandable. But not offering the 90 as RWD. I don't want to pay the extra money for AWD but I really need the bigger battery. Ohh well. Lease on current S85 doesn't expire until summer 2017 sp maybe they've done something else by...

Or maybe it was just in a draft. For a quick look in any (?) IEC standard, there is also the option to use the estonian standards agency (evs.ee) to do online browsing (webpage and standard still in english). 2 EUR per standard, might be cheaper then going to the library if you have to pay for...

Arg, I posted a link to a (draft?) standard in one of these ccs threads many months ago. Can't find it right now though. It had a resistor value at 1200 or 1500 ohm to signal ccs when doing the go to digital pwm signalling. Ohh. And to answer something else. Yes all of this is standardised...

Maybe. I've not seen anyone doing 'go to digital signalling' with the correct CCS signaling (resistor value). So we simply don't know. But as you say, what we do know points to CAN. At least in the US.

Of course it's not the same. With software it makes no sense in rolling out the same thing with different version numbers. That would just add confusion. But with that said, I have no idea what the difference is between 2.8.188 (which I have) and 2.7.77.
