At least back in 17.3.2, the car had files referring to a neural network called "main_narrow". I assume that it means it uses both. Your mileage may vary.

By the way, in my case the car could see the lanes (they'd appear in the IC) but it wouldn't show any cars.

I had the same problem. Radar was somehow miscalibrated, so I had to take it in for service. Not having TACC or any sort of cruise control for a week sucked.

FYI you don't need internet connectivity during the update. It's already downloaded and staged, the car just needs to flash the firmware for the other components and remount cid/ic/ape images. Is the only change from your last update the autoparking thing? Is the maximum autosteer speed on...
