I don't recall AP1 autosteer trying to kill me like AP2 does on every occasion when I flip it on for non-motorways! Definitely not at parity in my opinion. Didn't Elon quote AP parity and now HW parity? I would assume AP parity is auto steer / TACC but not things like summon & autopark

I have it fitted but like you, my phone slides down behind the lightning dock connector. Doesn't look like there's any adjustment to push either the phone further forward or the dock connector backward?

+1 for M27. I thought the area by Port Solent would be good -24x7 Tesco, Hotels, Restaurant, Pizza Hut / KFC etc but maybe not public enough to feel safe at all times. Whiteley would be good as it's close to the motorway and en route to Brighton / Chichester / Southampton etc Plenty of land...

Used mine today. Fantastic in 50Mph roadworks, no issues at all. A shame that you have to hold onto the wheel so often as I'm sure I saw an old Youtube video with AP1 that didn't prompt for around 20 minutes or so! Hopefully this will change as AP2 develops and becomes more reliable, although...

Just seen that you need summon to remotely trigger the homelink. Is it possible to do it without? I was hoping to ditch my garage fob and just use this! HW2 so no summon yet :(

teslas configurator also stated that Enhanced Autopilot would be rolled out by December 2016... I'm about to collect my MS60D and a little disappointed that it will have none of the AP features that my friends 2 year old model has.

I ordered in late October. The website said at the time November delivery. This was shortly delayed to late December. It's now showing January / Early February. My Vin ends 164351 I was thinking if it was Early Feb then I may delay it to March as well for the 17 plate.

+1 Think I will do the same and then double check their checks! I'm not always that detailed in my checks, but my detailer will quickly pick up on any paint defects. I just like the idea of them fixing it before I hand over a wad of cash since it's easier to argue over price before paying vs...

I'm assuming that's things like deep scratches and missing paint? Since light swirling etc.. can be solved by the detailed.
