    Model 3 Accessories

Hey all, Got frunk + trunk pneumatic struts delivered from Taptes last week. Just installed yesterday and they work beautifully. Vey easy install and did it myself (and I am no handyman whatsoever). Great accessory and I would recommend installing.

Not arguing this but hasn’t this thread kind of become the de facto thread to discuss al things TM3 related? Would you prefer that we have separate thread headings for topics such as driving issues, FSD, accessories, customer service, charging and chargers etc?

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

Hey all. Had a couple of WTF? moments in the past week driving our TM3. Driving in Melbourne and in centre of either side of suburban road is parking spaces for cars. There is a lady standing smoking a cigarette in one of these spaces with her door wide open and as I pass her, doing...

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

Seeing a few Model 3’s out and about now in Melbourne and just in my local area of Brunswick/Fitzroy/Clifton Hill. Saw all black (sorry..looked plain Jane), red (super slick) and white (pure class). And there are a few more to come I’m guessing?? A very electric future ahead

Yes that is correct and a very handy feature. Except car doesn’t change speed limit straight away on the screen. Also, anomalies with incorrect speed limits in certain areas as reported by others on the forum.

FWIW, tried TACC on suburban roads and AP on freeway. Loving TACC as it is set and forget, recognises changing speed limits (a tad late on speed limit change recognition at times so you have to dial down manually), comes to a complete spot if traffic halts and then speeds up again once it is...

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

Hey all, What are your thoughts on battery drain with sentry mode when car is parked overnight? Wha sort of loss are you seeing? Asking because we are heading for Darwin in early Nov albeit only 4 days. Car will be left at airport car park with Sentry Mode on I’m guessing! Got me thinking what...

It's so quiet! Even on freeway at 100kph..Tyres are Michelin..So much quieter than our Discovery Sport 4WD and definitely quieter than the V12 1973 e-Type Jag

@cregor Yes, do notice the battery drain with Sentry Mode on. Why is that concerning? Do you have access to a wall charger at home/garage? Not being rude, but I don't have access to a wall charger (no garage) and still manage to get by. Definitely wasn't aware of the battery drain prior..
