Just buy the Torx bit and you can usually move that little U latch on the body 2mm or so with out issue. I adjusted mine with no issue. Then you can take your time and make it perfect.

My seat back has the gap as well. If you push it in mine snap back into a different / closer position. But wiggle back out after a few min of driving.

You already give them all the data they need, whether you do FSD or not.

How did the bear manage to sneak out onto the road with out you noticing? I know that deer and etc will dart out in front quickly and unexpectedly, didn't think bears do that...?

The devil is in the details. Now EAP features are considered FSD features. So yes this hardware can do FSD, but not fully. And future iterations unlikely. Will they say “well you were able to do FSD features, just not everything that HW3.0 can do, etc”.

I have this too. The inside seal lip still touches so I have not found it to be an issue.

You can still add a 50amp 240volt circuit. If not enough capacity do 30amp, or 20amp. Any of those will make it non-issue.

Is the paint layer actually removed? Or just some of the clear coat? I’d suggest trying a well reviewed paintless dent repair. They may be able to remove the dent and wet sand the scratch for a reasonable cost. If you paint it you are probably looking at over 500.
