Supercharger - San Diego, CA - 3550 Rosecrans St (permit found, 16 V3 stalls)

If that's the right spot, that's kind of a small lot to take up 16 spots. I'm surprised it wouldn't be in the Target parking lot just west of it, given how many Tesla supercharger sites seem to be paired up with Target locations.

    Intermittent Wiper Failure

2019 Model S P100D with 2023.44.30.4 software. Intermittent wipers work properly now.

    Perforated Seats in P100D

I have a 2019 Model S P100D (April 2019 build) with perforated front seats (with cooling).

    Intermittent Wiper Failure

The two lowest settings are the "intermittent" settings, which means there is a pause between each pass of the wipers. Also, 2019 Model S here with the same problem of both intermittent settings no longer working (first noticed it a month or two ago).

    New Model S build quality

Tesla history of off-the-line build quality and reliability (meaning components retaining function for a reasonable/sustained period of usage) has been in the range of below average to poor for many years. The Consumer Reports rankings for Tesla had been in the bottom half in the years when I...

    Best USB for audio?

This is the one I use, for both Tesla purposes (music and dashcam for years) and general daily use (also for years): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D7PDLXC I use the 128GB for my vehicle (read speed is around 350MB/sec, write speed is about 60MB/sec) and several other 128GBs for general purpose...

Tesla is buying back my lemon plaid

I believe it is 30 days in service, not 30 hours. I also believe it does not need to be for any singular problem, as I was nearly in this situation across multiple problems.

    Supported USB File Types

This is fairly common when retrieving tag information from an Internet source for the kind of compilation album you are describing. The "Artist" tag will be used to refer to the artist(s) that performed a given track. The "Album Artist" tag will be used to indicate the name of the artist for...

    Supported USB File Types

I'm surprised the Tesla media player handled the lossless output from iTunes, since I believe that is ALAC and I didn't think the Tesla media player supported that format. If it does, excellent...and all the better for you. That might be the way for you to go...to convert all of your AIFF to...

    Supported USB File Types

AIFF is another container format, which is very similar to WAV in that it is generally used for uncompressed audio. AIFF has generally been used in the Apple world, whereas WAV has generally been used in the PC/Windows world. What you already ripped to AIFF (which might be uncompressed audio)...

    Supported USB File Types

I suspect the WAV files do not have any tags in them for information about the content of the file (artist, title, album, genre, etc.), whereas MP3 (and M4A) often have this additional information. The Tesla media player scans all the files for tags, which is how some items end up in "Artists"...

    USB Questions

This is the USB drive I use (2019 Model S): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D7P4SY4/ I also use these as general-purpose file transfer drives on a daily basis (I've owned several over the past few years). The price is good, the drives have decent performance (60MB/s write speeds), and...

21 inch turbine wheel crack survey

I have a 2019 Model S P100D with 21" Sonic Carbon Twin Turbine Wheels, about 50k miles. Just had a crack happen (front right wheel) on a pothole. The wheel/tire was exhibiting a slow leak for about a week prior, so I don't know if it already had a small crack that was made larger.

    Overcharging set charge %?

I have this happen sporadically, and I use a Tesla Wall Connector. I don't think I've ever had it undercharge, but I've had 2-3% overcharge many times, and at different charge targets (80%, 85%, and 90%). It's not often, but maybe once or twice a month, on average (over multiple years).

Tesla is buying back my lemon plaid

I almost ran into California Lemon Law limits on a 2017 Model S I had. There are a few different types of criteria. Some of them are for multiple attempts to repair the same fault (I think it is the third attempt for something "potentially life-threatening if it fails" and five attempts for...
