Thanks everyone. I was very tempted to go with 20in rims but in the end decided to keep my 19in OE wheels and upgrade to Michelin Pilot Sports 3 A/S due to the range of temperatures in Northern California. No perceptible difference in road noise and so far enjoying better grip. Maybe one day...

Got it early this morning. So far it mostly handles better by staying in the middle of the lane except for some turns where it wanders too close to vehicles in the adjacent (left) lane.

Just saw the lower weight 20 in wheels offered with tires as a package at TireRack but don't see any reviews there or via Google. The prices seem very reasonable compared to all the other alternatives out there. Has anyone installed these wheels? Please share your experience - do they hold up...

My car came with Goodyear Touring. I don't plan to stick with them much longer.

Has anyone tried the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 or Michelin Super Sport on a Tesla Model S with 19 in wheels? I just tried to buy the new Pilot Sport 4S but TireRack says they are not available for OEM wheel sizes. :(

Hi Thanks for all the great information. How have the PS3's held out for you? I'm considering a set for Northern CA driving. Have you considered the Super Sports as well. I know that TireRack has not verified a fit... curious if anyone has tried these as well.

I have been asking different reps and so far only one has said that there is a future upgrade. Does anyone know if this is true or when this may be offered? Looking to upgrade an already great car... hoping that just like the software upgrades we'll be able to have some modular HW upgrade...
