I am disappointed in Elon for this: Elon: “No I was playing a fool on Twitter!” He chooses to use his twitter account as a mouthpiece to speak to the many of us investors, and for him to be sending out misinformation that way is ...well... disappointing. Change my mind.

I am laughing reading that reddit AMA. I see so many of the same names there as here. Plus, the lack of an answer to some of those basic, well thought out questions about their methodology. Love it.

That's a good point, I made a mistake there on the numbers. However you want to run the numbers, however, it is a material statement as he was confirming a particular production number, and for that reason my argument is still valid even if he was essentially saying "we will make 430 model 3"

I believe by confirming the high end of the range of guidance it is a material change in guidance. This sort of stuff often moves companies and it did move tesla after hours, albeit small.

@Papafox How do you know those options expire in feb and not, say, in march? I read the article listed and didn't mention of the expiration date.

Is there any way to see which boat that is, or what day that is? How do we know whether it is from today or a while ago?

13F filed today by GERBER KAWASAKI WEALTH & INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT. Shows a sale of 1000 or so shares of their 40,000. That's Ross from twitter/tv fame. Also new: Baillie Gifford added 108,000 shares. NEW YORK STATE COMMON RETIREMENT FUND sold 134,000 shares.

I did not see evidence to support this overall in the 13f filings. There were two large holders of puts (200,000) that did sell out/lower their puts, but there were also large holders of puts who bought more (100,000 more puts).

I have to agree with this strongly. I think the cash generating power of the company was demonstrated and right now the macro events (tariffs particularly) are what drive this stock until the next earnings.

Yeah I see as of 2019 it's not titled as such. I was asking if we could get back a thread titled as such because it would be nice to see a discussion of real time market moving events, like tariff negotiations etc.

Is there any way to get back a tesla market action thread? I think the majority of posts here are just people having random discussions that are tangentially related to tesla. It's nearly impossible to scan through all the posts coming out for any usable information and I know some people have...

@ReflexFunds Why did zev credits go to zero in 2019 for the whole year? I thought that most recently one analyst just modeled a whopping 400 m in zev credits for the first quarter.
