Most likely it was your SA who randomly put a referral code on your order. The referral program is always available.

In Q3, only the double SC referral (1k mi => 2k mi) was officially advertised online. The free 2-yr SC was only mentioned by SAs in store and customers online. The free upgrades was also only available by SAs (for a very short window, like one week or so).

Q3 incentives were probably due to earnings pressure, as well as management chaos (free upgrades). But with the surprising profit, there may not be any incentive in Q4. Plus, they already raised M3 prices after Q3.

Any order should qualify for the two-year free SC. The two free upgrades was only supposed for pending orders matching inventory cars, though some folks were able to take advantage of the chaos even if they placed new orders. The real reason could be that an order placed on 08/15 may not be...

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like single? Joint would make it easier to qualify. But, hey, if your household income goes over the joint limit - that's actually not a bad thing right? I'd prefer going over that limit to qualifying for the rebate. :p

I believe the temporary registration is valid for the $2500 CA rebate, but the $800 PG&E rebate would require the official one. Did you use the temporary docs for that $800 rebate as well?
