My MCU has the infamous black screen. However I’m still able to connect to the car via the app. I know it’s the Emmc issue. My car is only charging at 8 amps versus the normal 32 amps, is this normal for a emmc failure? Since the MCU is dead I can’t check to see if I can adjust the amps.

2016 AP1 car, my MCU died on the 4th randomly. Tried the scroll button reset to no avail. Strange thing, my A/C stayed running, even with the car supposedly off. Not sure as to the cause it’s at SC getting replaced (under warranty) Will report back when I finally get my car back.

Thanks for all of responses. I decided to stick with my S. I can’t get over the front end of the 3 versus my S. The side profile and rear of the 3 are very similar to my S (looks wise). IMO the front end of the S is sexy. The front end of the 3 is attractive but at certain angles just looks goofy.
