I recently saw an ad for the Volvo V60 collision avoidance system which stops the car before a collision. Sounds like a nice standard or even option.

The more shots I see of the large screen, the more intrusive it seems with all the extra light it appears to emit during night time driving.

I wonder how much weight would actually be saved by using a carbon fiber frame and how much would that weight savings go towards increasing range, and thus reducting the quantity of batteries to reach the current range goals? Could we actually end up with a close offset of cost?

I would guess that having AWD will also be a good way to go for a sports version of the vehicle. It would allow reduced power to a single motor, thus less cooling requirement and greater regen to make up for additional weight and hopefully resulting in less range reduction.

I think it doesn't much matter what is currently being said. We won't know what we'll actually get until we get it and it may have little to do with what we expected or were previously told.

Was anyone able to get the specs on the Signature series model?

I don't see having a recharge station at McDonalds as being practical since people wouldn't normally be spending much time at a fast food restaurant.

Has anyone gotten the notice yet that the battery pack specs are changing? The new standard battery will have 27 kw and an aptional battery with 53 kw will be added to the options list for an additional 20k. If "anything can change", then what else will be removed from the standard vehicle...
