Upgrade in all things, except that dash. That would be a major meh for me. I drove an older X for a week while the 3 was in the shop. The interior on that X was atrocious, loved everything else about it though. Source: see signature.

Wheel rep got back to me and assured me the 275s would fit and not rub in front, even if lowered. I'll be running a custom offset for max poke/concavity while also not sticking outside of the wheel well. Dunno what the offset is, I don't think they advertise it, hopefully it'll be stamped on...

A custom wheel manufacture suggested I run 275/40/21 front and back, (same-ish overall height / circumference as stock, so speedo shouldn't be too far off). Now I'm having my doubts as I've read that the stock Continental CrossContact LX Sports run a bit narrow, and my tire of choice, Michelin...

Refreshed X in blue getting stealthed

My Google-Fu is lacking. While I dig the OEM system's clarity and loudness, it desperately needs at least another amp'd 12" sub to really slam. Sad there aren't any write ups, nor any stealth boxes available yet for the refresh. I'd rather DIY than pay the extra $$$ for a custom install...

'18 M3P to '22 X Plaid owner here. I had a loaner older X, interior was ass IMO. Refresh is the only way to go if you're coming from a 3. I'm McLoving my X, so much more my style, the visablity, height, room, etc. The redickulous power is just icing on the cake. I felt like driving a coffin...

What is this range you speak of? :) Tis fine round town if you have L2 at home, and I can put on easily 50+ miles in a day and go from 80% to 50% just tooling back and forth. As an over thinker myself, it's a nothing burger.

My only advice, be conscious / mindful if you're ticked off. That's the only time I feel myself losing control of the speed and doing double the posted speed limit, albeit for short distances, mainly to get away from whatever road rage inducing idiot I ran into.
