Agreed. We are talking about trivial UI elements not Unreal Engine 5.4. This is nothing more than Tesla wanting a way to distinguish between "old" and "new" vehicles and make you want to buy a new one... without stopping software updates entirely.

This problem seems to have stopped with 2023.38.9 and I've taken a few upgrades since then. I'm on 2023.44.30.5.1 now and I've still not had this audio issue in about a month.

Thanks. I had it too in 2023.38.6 but after a few more drives, I still haven't heard it in 2023.38.9. Mine won't update to 2023.44.1 because I have FSD but it'll be interesting to see if it continues for you in that version.

I don't want to jinx it but I have not heard the cut-out in 2023.38.9 yet. I haven't driven much since I got it but the 4x I have since I got that version, no cut-outs. Might need more data though: too early to tell for sure.

On 2023.32.9 and mine does it more now than ever. I think it's a hardware issue that is common and they keep trying to work around it with software so they don't have to replace parts.

Glad I found this. Mine has been doing this for a few versions. I'm on 2023.20.9 and it's still doing it... I think more than ever. EXACT same symptoms as above: almost always when I first enter the car. Never in the middle of a drive.

No street lights around here and I've gotten the "b pillar camera blocked" messages at night for over 2 years now. Never seems to affect anything other than the messages popping up. I only wish there was an option to "dismiss" those messages permanently since they seem to affect nothing. Mike

Bottom line is that I think the implication here is that your phone key can unlock the wrong car. Safe to say that didn't happen. If someone forgets and leaves their phone in their car and has not set up PIN to drive, anyone can get in and drive off. Doesn't mean people are walking around...
