Which (classic) car would you like to see converted?

I have a 1987 Saab 900 Cabrio similar to the one in photo, which is in need of a lot of work to get to that condition. Whilst I'm not going to be doing any of that work, as I have been thinking of resurrecting it, I have been wondering about finding someone who can restore it for me, and at the...

    Which Winter Tyres in UK?

I live in Austria, where winter tyres are a legal requirement. I did a lot of research and was edging towards Michelin (Alpin 5, I think) but a couple of chats with some non-Tesla drivers here convinced me to go with the Pirelli Sottozero 3. Yes, they're a touch noisier, but the performance is...

    Aftermarket Skyline phone dock

Sounds like just what I need! I hope it will become available for European customers, too!

Do you eat in your Tesla???

Yup, we eat and drink in the car, take long trips with two long-haired Norwegian Forest Cats that leave fluff absolutely everywhere and shock people by loading the car up to the brim at the DIY store! It's a lovely car, but still a car that I want to be able to use to the fullest. No smoking...

    2017.32 9ea02cb

Weird... Mine's also an AP2 MS 90D and the auto lane change works even better than with the previous firmware (2017.28.cxxxxxx). Maybe it's a calibration issue or maybe a reboot would help?

    Firmware 2017.32 9ea02cb

I have an AP2 car. It seems that those functions are unchanged for AP1 cars. We're still waiting for feature parity, but it's encouraging that outta slowly improving.

    Firmware 2017.32 9ea02cb

I just got it, too. The only thing in the release notes is the Automatic High Beam, which we didn't have in Europe until this update. Aside from that, Autopilot seems to be a little more solid, a bit more reassured, and auto lane change is a touch smoother still, so happy to have it for my...

An automatic Exit profile would be nice

Is this the answer to our request? :)

Does 17.17.4 AP2 actually perform better for you?

A European voice: On motorways, there's an appreciable improvement. The tracking seems to be better, auto lane changes are faster and with less dithering and the lane changes with slower traffic in lanes one further to the right seem to be without the panicky braking where the AP didn't seem to...

An automatic Exit profile would be nice

I have that in my Evoque. If the engine is off and the gears in Park, the seat lowers upon opening the door. I miss it in my MS -- it would be great to have the seat rise and the steering wheel rise further still.

Announcing the EV Trip Optimizer for Tesla App

Looks cool... I'll definitely have a play with this over the coming weeks. One point which might help with non-US customers: What about auto loading the superchargers for the region where the customer is (or at least having a dialog pop up asking "It looks like you're in Europe. Do you want to...

    Sometimes map shows summer

Google takes/buys the images for their maps at several levels, and therefore taken at different times, with the close ups taken from aircraft, the really zoomed out ones by satellites. They rarely use snow-covered imagery for parts of the world without snow most of the year, but if it's the best...

    Volvo Car Company - what's your view/opinion?

I've had several Volvos over the years (along with a couple of classic SAABs - being true to my Swedish roots!) Volvos are lovely cars for comfort and safety, though not quite as dynamic as some of the German brands. The interiors of the current range are truly beautiful, and Volvo was on the...

CONFIRMED Order Necessary to Qualify for “Free” Supercharging

The confirmation button was definitely available here in Austria at the end of November when I ordered my Model S. I'm not sure how much it actually does, considering we have the same 14-day cooling off period, but I did get my VIN a couple of days later, well within the 14-day period.
