IME, they text you a link that opens in Uber. I don't see a reason why you couldn't forward it to someone else. Also, when I got the Uber credit in the past, they expired the evening of quoted pickup - not when you pick up the car.

Were you able to get this to squeeze into between the windshield? I managed to squeeze it enough to cover the rear glass, but I don’t think the 1/4” tube compresses enough to cover the windshield.
