Software Build v10.2 2020.12.5 e2179e0650f0 (2020-04-07) - Tesla Owners Online Did Tesla document this somewhere or was it possible unintended? I feel like I could have probably saved some time and frustration if e.g. the release notes said "oh btw ext4 is no longer supported"

I should have trusted my gut that that was a worthless solution. Reformatted and still no luck (obviously, the viewer now shows nothing because there's nothing) So did they silently remove support for ext4?

Ugh I am finding some reports of success that "reformatting works!" -- might as well reinstall Windows while I'm at it. I love these grade A solutions to everything.

Could I prevent it from sleeping? This seems to have happened more often in the past 2 weeks, but I've also not been keeping my charge as high the past couple of weeks since I've been on vacation and haven't been charging at work (no home charging)

I find sentry mode recording to be somewhat unreliable because the car seems to keep corrupting hard drives by unmounting them without "safely removing" them (even though they stay plugged in), thus can't save the recorded videos. Why is it doing that? Is there something I might be doing wrong...

I had tried hard-resetting the car (brake + both steering wheel buttons, screen reboots and the entire car too I think?). Unfortunately that didn't do the trick. When it started working magically, it had just been parked outside for a few hours.

Update: it suddenly started working again. Still going to get service to check it out but hopefully doesn't happen again before then!
