Good day to have a Tesla

In the summer, whenever I go anywhere I expect to leave in 60-90 minutes, I always turn the AC on as soon as I park. I'm pretty sure the AC stays on for 60 minutes or so. And it can't be great for the tablet to be in a car which is 120 degrees. I'm sure there will be a software update with an...

Not getting paint protection film for your Model 3?

I highly recommend front end PPF. Especially since you live in New England. Sandtrucks are brutal. Just my 2 cents.

    Rear window film Model 3

I believe the price was for everything, including the windshield. Maybe they do excellent work, but $2,200+ for window tint is just insane, IMHO.

Cost of a full PPF wrap?

Probably $5k-ish. I did my front bumper, front fenders, headlights, hood, & side mirrors for $1,400.

    PSA: Be careful with sunblock!

I can't believe you let your family in your Model 3! Mistake #1.

    Powder Coating Calipers

I want to powder coat my brake calipers and was wondering how you guys go about doing it. I figured I'll take my Model 3 to my mechanic to remove the calipers, bleed the brakes, etc. Then I'll sent the calipers to a powder coat shop. Does anyone have alternatives to this very long process?

Thinking about ceramic coating my Model 3 myself the day I pickup, is this crazy?

Not crazy at all. I did it.My Model 3's paint looks amazing and is super easy to clean. Also, I highly recommend coating the wheels with CarPro Delux. It is a ton of work, but I love my car so I actually didn't mind. I recommend watching some YouTube videos from Car Craft Auto Detailing. He...

    PPF/Ceramic coating - Why?

On a road trip to the Grand Canyon. An oncoming truck launched a huge rock at my baby. The PPF on my front bumper prevented a huge dent. I'm mostly certain if I remove the PPF the bumper will look untouched.

    PPF/Ceramic coating - Why?

I think you made a good choice. I have a white Model 3 and had the full front dome with PPF. IMO, getting at least the front bumper done is needed.
