Notes for Putting on Modern Spare

I just received my Modern Spare, and from the above notes I think there may have been some updates. Here is a quick review. First off the quality of everything is top notch. 1. The bag is reinforced and seems quite durable. 2. The scissor jack and ratcheting handle feel to be a little...

Disable rear seats seat belt warning

The child seat GUI was an amazing find for when I put groceries and other things on the seats.

M3 passenger seatbelt anchor - is this normal?

Really depends on the seat height. Here are two pictures one with my seat all the way down and another with it all the way up.

    TeslaMate [megathread]

Yes it was plugged in during the update, it already reached its set charge level before the update started and remained plugged in after the update until this afternoon. I thought it was odd since I assumed it would just use the filter of the dates / times the car was in each firmware release...

    TeslaMate [megathread]

Updates Dashboard Issue, Hi everyone my Model 3 just updated to 2020.40.3 last night and in Tesla Mate for some reason it shows I have had 9 charges on this new version. I looked in the DB and don't see anything apparently wrong, here are some print screens. Any idea how to fix it? Grafana...

    TeslaMate [megathread]

Thanks Dave, I updated the formatting on the script since there are a lot of US supercharger names that have apostrophes in them... so nice to use a postgres SQL editor like Postico so you can quickly see any scripting issues. Attached is the updated script.

    TeslaMate [megathread]

@DaveW The USA supercharger has false in all of the KW fields so the script will error out. INSERT INTO public.geofences (name, latitude, longitude, radius, inserted_at, updated_at, cost_per_kwh, session_fee) VALUES ('Great Barrington, Ma Supercharger', 42.180949, -73.364744, 35, '2020-09-27...

    TeslaMate [megathread]

@DaveW Looks great to me, also I was looking at the open charge map and wondering how you get the data and then format it into excel I assume and then use formulas to create the script. Are you using this call...

@DaveW Are you working on a bulk import for Superchargers in the USA?

    TeslaMate [megathread]

Hi Dave, Thanks so much for the quick reply, if I run the command from the tmbackup folder it fails with the same error, if I run it from the TeslaMate folder with just sudo before it I get a permission error. When I do sudo -i and run the backup commandfrom the TeslaMate folder it works...

Mine is a September 2019 build and is still the one piece so must have happened end of September.

    2020 Model 3 and differences from 2019

Here is the EPC for the Y looks a bit different and I think your reasoning for the change makes a ton of sense and the Y is similar with smaller parts. Also anyone with a Tesla account can access the EPC just go to epc.tesla.com and use your email address you use with your car on the first page...

Not sure when they changed but the EPC shows the two different options now.
