17 days to VIN and another 23 days to delivery. Very close to 6 weeks total. I think it was 2 days from VIN to phone call.

Re: the main post - federal court will be our only way out of the current dealership structure. The dealers’ association is too powerful for a political change. I could see the same rationale being applied to car dealerships as is being applied here to liquor licenses.

Are the liquor stores separate from the main stores? That may get around it. Regular grocery stores can’t sell hard liquor - only beer and wine.

A $35,000 60-month loan at 2.5% would be about a $625/month payment.

I had to wait 3 months after I configured my Model S for them to build and deliver it. It was worth the wait. There is no car like a Tesla IMO. Be patient.

I saw a blue one charging at the nhsc a few weeks ago. My co-worker showed up with his new blue 3 yesterday. It wa pretty exciting. I have a VIN but no delivery date yet.
