What amount of vibration is “normal?”

I originally had a 2019 Model 3 Performance that I was extremely happy with. My situation and expectation was identical to yours. Tesla ended up buying the car back. The reality is that the Model X suspension is a pile of trash. It is astonishing that they have made this vehicle for so long and...

Is the glass distortion still a problem for ‘24 model

Regarding the back glass, I don't think I've seen one that was right. I have an appointment to get the windshield, rear hatch, front-passenger, and driver side-view mirror replaced on the 29th. Will report back with results.

Is the glass distortion still a problem for ‘24 model

Actually, no vibration! The model X had plenty, though!

24 days in service center for wind noise

Wait 6 more days and let it qualify for lemon law.

Is the glass distortion still a problem for ‘24 model

It's not linear, so I suspect it is a manufacturing defect.

Is the glass distortion still a problem for ‘24 model

For me, the glass has definitely been an issue. I just picked up a 2024 Model S and, unfortunately, definitely lots of glass issues. I inspected carefully before accepting; however, it wasn't noticeable until I drove the car: Windshield has vertical ripples on passenger side. Makes straight...

    Deliveries of $80k X?

The ones in that thread are different. It feels like the rear end is dancing around on the road and creates propagating vibrations through the chassis - it really is awful.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

With all the 2024 MX owners in this thread, has anyone had any vibration issues as mentioned in this thread?

why won't Tesla transfer FUSC more than once?

Going forward, it might be possible to add FSD as an "aftermarket item" on the insurance policy. Worth checking with insurance because if you did have to replace the vehicle for a duplicate, it would cost an extra $12k than what the original MSRP was.

Getting highland vented/cooled seats for the model Y

Has anyone successfully ordered these seats or have ideas as to when it might be possible to order these seats? I am very interested in replacing the seats in my 2019 M3P. Not concerned about the ventilation working, so long as the heat works.

Vibration on brand new Model X at about 38mph to 60mph

This particular concern seems to be a matter of the vehicle having the issue or not, rather than something that happens over time. My X had the issue from delivery, noticeable enough to the point that I made a service appointment that same night. The camber adjustment / lower kit is to address...

    Front License Plate Bracket

Phew... was ready to get a whole new bumper to get rid of that atrocity, so this is a relief. Thank you!

    Front License Plate Bracket

Looking to take delivery of a new Model S in the coming weeks. Delivery center is saying that they come off the line with the front plate bracket installed. I really don't want the plate bracket on there. A few questions Can anyone confirm if this is true and that the cars do indeed deliver...

Ambient lighting for 2023 Model X?

According to Teslascope - just now - vehicles are currently being assembled with both the front bumper camera and the ambient lighting.

Vibration on brand new Model X at about 38mph to 60mph

Yeah, I am not wiling to take the gamble on a brand new one. I think the only safe approach to replacement with another X would be to buy a pre-owned one or a demo because you can at least drive it first. If you want to do the FSD transfer it gets a bit more complex because you can't transfer...
