They matched me today at 72 without a question - but I put down a $20k down payment… not sure why some get lucky…

Yes - this should work - I just completed everything today and take delivery tomorrow but felt like I cut it too close. The key is that when you apply for the DCU auto loan you have to stay on them to go through approval. I called two days after applying and that’s when they approved me over...

I’m on the west coast and have found waiting for the VIN was too late - DCU has been slower than expected with crazy phone wait times - and Tesla rate match as been close. 1 week on west coast is not enough… wish I started a bit earlier…

How’d you convince them to eventually match you after they originally denied because to term (65 vs 72) mismatch?

Just see if they can get close on a 72 month - what are you trying to have then match?
