Tesla recommends cleaning and lubricating all brake calipers every 12 months or 20,000 km

Yes, I asked them about it in the service chat and the response I got was "All service and parts prices are subject to change. A brake service will include costs for the wheel removal and installation, the brake cleaning and a standard half hour of corrosion labor." Total estimate comes to...

Tesla recommends cleaning and lubricating all brake calipers every 12 months or 20,000 km

Did you get a response if they'll swap your winter tires for you at the same cost? This is frustrating because I was quoted this summer through service chat $140-160+HST for standard brake service on my Y. Now I got the same estimate you did with the added 0.5 hour ($87.50) charge for...

    Let's See Your Charging Setup

From a distance it does look like an old school TV/VHS combo unit! It's actually a garage heater to keep my baby warm up here in the great white north!

    Let's See Your Charging Setup

I actually cut it all out of 3/4" mdf, painted it and used velcro tape to secure it to the wall. Inexpensive but time consuming!

Too much COVID-19 time at home leads to silly garage projects complete with accent lighting!

19" Michelin X-Ice SNOW - Has anyone got them?

I can relate to your lack of miles ... picked up my Y in late September and only have 717 km on it! Roads are just too salty and dirty up here in Ontario right now. She's resting comfortably in the garage until the weather gets better!

19" Michelin X-Ice SNOW - Has anyone got them?

Hooray! Thanks for sharing the first ever pics! I now have some questions for my local dealer. Enjoy your new tires. Please let us know how they run, especially regarding noise and energy use compared to the factory Conti's.

19" Michelin X-Ice SNOW - Has anyone got them?

Michelin seems to be a surprisingly naive company. On their website, for both USA and Canada, they still don't have the Model Y listed as a production vehicle yet!

19" Michelin X-Ice SNOW - Has anyone got them?

Please post a pic! My local Michelin dealer says "that size tire doesn't exist". I'd love to prove them wrong!

19" Michelin X-Ice SNOW - Has anyone got them?

Has anyone actually seen these tires yet in 255/45R19? Michelin had to cut some sizes from production in the spring and I don't think they actually made any of these yet. I'd love to be proven wrong by an actual photo of one!

I got my Model X PPF & Coated!

Hi Tommy. Please send me the contact info as well. Picked up a nice pearl white MY yesterday at the new Vaughan service center and I need some protection! Thanks so much!

Model Y Tesmanian interior & rear floor mat(s) review

Can I ask how much you got "slapped" with duties? I just ordered a full set ($320 US) from Ontario and I'm dreading what customs will add on!

Anyone bought Replica r241 19x9.5 for their new Model Y?

@kevchan Thanks for the very detailed info! @PhantomY Thanks also for the detailed help - this forum is awesome. Do you happen to have the Amazon link for the centre caps you ordered? The ones I found all shipped by slow boat from China with Sept/Oct delivery. As far as snow tires go, I got...

Anyone bought Replica r241 19x9.5 for their new Model Y?

Wow!!! Those look so good! Are they space grey or satin black? Can I ask where you ordered them from? There seems to be several online retailers. Are those the Model 3 centre cap and lug nut covers? Also, did you use the Tesla TPMS or buy a second set? Thanks!
